Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the largest university in Greece. It comprises 10 faculties which consist of 40 schools and 1 single-school faculty, operating 61 clinics (Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine) and 295 laboratories. The university caters for over 73,000 students (65,026 in undergraduate programmes and 8,472 in postgraduate programmes, of which 3,952 at Doctoral level).
The Lab of Computing & Medical Informatics (LOMI) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was founded in 1990 and is one of the major research and development centres in Medical Informatics and Biomedical Engineering both in the Greek and European arena. Through its direct link to University Clinics of Aristotle University, the team has the ability to develop state-of-the art ICT solutions that truly meet healthcare professional requirements, and evaluate the outcomes through trials and pilots in real clinical environments. Also, the Lab has been running since 1998 the graduate programme in Medical Informatics.

- Human computer interaction
- Biodata analysis, machine learning methodologies, medical knowledge management and decision support systems
- More than 20 years in medical informatics research
AUTH is involved in the design and development of the ACT@SCALE evaluation system.
