ACT@Scale at EHMA 2018 Conference – Making It Happen
The European Health Management Association has accepted abstracts from our partners in Catalonia, AQuAS and Basque Country, Kronikgune, to their 2018 Annual Conference – Making It Happen. The conference aims to raise discussions about delivering change and overcoming challenges in policy implementation and takes place in Budapest, Hungary from 20-22 June 2018.
The abstract by AQuAS is titled Scaling up in staff engagement processes. Best practices detected in ACT@Scale project and focuses on the challenge of adapting the growing demand in health services and its sustainability by gathering information from the staff engaged in the ACT@Scale programs. Furthermore, it aims to score stakeholder engagement through the assessment of the overall staff engagement across programs and regions, and to identify good practices already in place.
The abstract by Kronikgune is titled Scaling-up process of integrated care program for multimorbid patients within ACT@Scale project and focuses on integrated intervention for multimorbid population. The ageing of the population and the increase of chronic diseases represent a huge challenge for the sustainability of healthcare systems, in which the abstract outlines the identified roles and actions needed within integrated care. Furthermore, it has created a homogeneous pathway for multimorbid patient’s integrated care.
Looking forward to a three-day conference with interesting sessions and debates!
